This Year's Fair

The Fair this year is on Saturday 8th July 2017 - gates open at 12 noon and it takes place on Chelsfield Cricket Green BR6 7RN. Adults £3.50 and children under-14 FREE. Includes free programme.

The superb flying displays at Chelsfield Village Fair are sponsored through the generosity of local people and companies. In 2017, all being well, we will have the traditional exhilarating solo Spitfire display which has proved to be a huge draw in past years and, making a second appearance, Mark Jefferies in his new Extra 330SC high-performance aerobatic aircaft.

The cost of these displays is financed by Chelsfield Flying Club which is an informal body purely consisting of those who donate! If you become a Gold Member (£70 donation or more) you get the official and exclusive CFC Souvenir (exact nature of which to be confirmed) and the satisfaction of helping to make Chelsfield Village Fair THE most exciting event for miles around.

If you would like to become a member of the Flying Club, please make a donation in one of the following ways:

  • Cheque made payable to 'Chelsfield Village Fair' - please make sure you write Chelsfield Flying Club on the back of your cheque. You can give these cheques to Dave Griffiths, Peter Lamond, Nigel Lamb or send/hand deliver to 4 Orlestone Gardens, Chelsfield Village, Kent, BR6 6HB
  • Cash given to Dave Griffiths in the Five Bells or wherever else you see him, so he can keep a record!

Chelsfield Fair is a vibrant annual event attracting between 3,000 and 4,000 visitors. One of the attractions is the vast array of charity and commercial traders who attend. Payment for pitches can be made by cheque in the post or you can apply and pay on-line with an exclusive login we will give you once we have approved your application.

Pitches are £35 for commercial and £25 for non-profit-making organisations and charities. Organisations providing catering which directly competes with our volunteer-run bar and tea-rooms will not be permitted.

Pitches are a 4m x 4m bit of grass. We do not provide anything else and there is NO mains power available.
